I am a sex-therapist who graduated in 2012 from a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from the University of Québec in Montreal (UQAM). I have followed various workshops related to my field of study as well. This website is dedicated to people who want to get information on what exactly does a sexologist and/or would like to book my services.

WHAT IS A SEXOLOGIST & SEX-THERAPIST?

A sexologist has more than 3 years of undergraduate studies at a university and studies human sexuality through several dimensions such as biological, psychological, emotional, social/moral/ethical and cognitively. A sexologist has a deep understanding of sexually transmitted infections (STI's; originally called STD's), pregnancy, contraception, different cultures in Québec inbond with sexuality, the sexual development of the human being (from birth to the elderly), love, intimacy, interpersonal communication, seduction, and obviously genital response. As you can notice, sexuality is not exclusively based on the sexual act or the genitals, but interact with various spheres of life. Sexologist are trained to create and teach sexual education programs, workshops, conferences to the general public and to various health care professionals.

The sex-therapist has a Master's Degree in clinical sexology. He uses various theoretical approaches in order to offer sex-therapy to individuals or couples in need. Without judgement, he evaluates, diagnoses and proposes a treatment to the person or couple in therapy. The duration of a sexo-therapy varies from one person to the next and cannot be predetermined. NO SEXUAL OR EROTIC CONTACTS ARE ALLOWED BETWEEN A SEX-THERAPIST AND HIS CLIENTS.
